Minneapolis, MN – July 31, 2013 – Before my shadowing at WCCO Channel 4 started, we made a stop at the station in downtown and met with some anchors, co-anchors and reporters. In this shot, Aristea Brady neatly applies her makeup before going on set. As for me, I was on-board to join the legendary Dave Wertheimer as he covered the first legal gay marriages in the state of Minnesota. Photo by Louis Fine.

DSC_6598dcMinneapolis, MN – July 31, 2013 – With the first legal gay marriages about to start, I wanted an overall shot of the scene at city hall, but there was too much going on to capture it on the lower floors. Going up as far as I could go seemed like my best bet, plus, I got to include all the people peering out over the balconies. I think I was on the fifth floor.
